He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Rochus Fichter and Thressa Fichter; his siblings, Kay Scraper and Joe Fichter; and his siblings-in-law, John Scraper, John Seale and Loretta Fichter.
He is survived by: his children, Celeste VanDeWoestyne (Jim), Justin VanDeWoestyne (Nicole McKim), Cali Bernard (Justin), Vivienne, Darcy Fichter (Pat), Byron Fichter, Becky Hunter (Ethan), Hannah, Owen, Blane Fichter (Kendra), Cole, Jordan, Devin, Myles Fichter (Glenda), Lorin, Morgan, Shayna and Theresa Fichter; his siblings, Rose Seale, Jake Fichter and Ray Fichter (Ute); and his sister-in-law Genevieve Fichter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
