She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmond Fichter and Rose Fichter; her siblings, Pauline Wock (Martin), Matilda Monteyne (Charlie), Monica Schierle, Otillia Gervais (Edward), Frank Fichter (Rose) and Martin Fichter (Irene); and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Ruder, Irene Fichter (Picard) and Rose Fichter (Winder).
She is survived by: her daughter Joan; her sisters, Wilhelmi and Wilhelmina Ruder; and her brother-in-law Arno Schierle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation (designate to Unit A), 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, Sask., S4A 0H3.
