He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smyth and Vera Smyth (Prescott); his brother Brian; and his niece Kristy Hoffart. He is survived by: his son Christopher (Kaley); his grandchild Ryker; his son Jesse (Courtenay); his grandchildren, Abbigale, Cullain and Oliver; his brothers, Terry (Sharon) and Richard (Charmaine); and also Candy Smyth.
