She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Laiss and Albert Laiss; and her siblings, Arlan Vold, Kenneth Vold, Terrence Neill and Colleen Crook.

She is survived by: her husband Tim Michel; her son Don Laiss-Michel; her grandchildren, Brooklyn and Gaige; her children, Jay Michel (Rose) and Will; and her siblings, Karen Foisy and Brian Holt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
