She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Godman and Thelma Godman; her husband Mathias Mehler; her son Leslie; her grandsons, Marlon and Chris Byers; her great grandchild Nia Hale; her siblings, Dwayne Godman, Reva Porowski, Verna Panteluk and Gail Szostak; and her sister-in-law Marie Godman.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Mantei (Cecil); her grandchildren, Jesse (Jason), Tyler (Elyse) and Calay (Taylor); her siblings, Delbert Godman (Ruth), Louella Kroetch, Doreen Moody and Patricia Ackrill (David); her brother-in-law Len Szostak; and also, Mala Dhuj, Jennalynd (Darryl), Emmalee (Chris), Myron, Jason (Chardina), Landon, Tanner (Tiffany), Blaine (Alexa), Kelsey (Adam) and Chad Mehler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
