With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine Carol Melanson (Estevan, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Freundl and Mary Freundl; her siblings, Barry Freundl, Louis Freundl and Norma Kuntz; her siblings-in-law, Marg Freundl, Al Kuntz, Lyle Neal and Melvin Chamney; her parents-in-law, Ida and Ferdinand Melanson; and her close friend Mary Hein.
She is survived by: her grandson Jason Stefanski; her husband Romeo Melanson; her children, Tim Melanson (Ola), Shiela Zanidean (Abdou), Jackie Speetjens (Scott), Lori Preston (Dennis), Connie Skoropat (Danny) and Roselle Heleta (Jason); and her siblings, Judy Freeborn (Jack), Marjorie Chamney, Lenore Neal, Betty-Lou Briltz (Jerry), Gerald Freundl (Yvonne) and Bobby Freundl (Lynn). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Estevan Regional Nursing Home Auxiliary, 1921 Wellock Road, Estevan, SK S4A 2B5 would be appreciated as tokens of remembrance.
