He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Maley and Naomi Maley; his son Barry Maley; his brother Norvin Maley; and his sisters-in-law, Adele Maley and Rose Maley.

He is survived by: his children, Beverley Schmidt (Walter), Dennis Maley (Sharon), Karen Skilnick (Frank) and Dawn Corpe (Leroy); his siblings, Carl Maley (Irene) and Marilyn Tenold; and his brother-in-law Elwin Byers (Isabel). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
