He was predeceased by: his former wives, Evelyn (Bailey) and Bernice (Mayo); his parents, Josephine LaValley and Noah LaValley; his siblings, Louie LaValley (Lisa), Wilfred LaValley (Mabel), Fred, Edna Backlund (Oliver), Bella and Clara Knibbs (Leonard); and his stepchildren, Vern Mayo and Virginia.
