He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna; his parents, Lawrence and Yvonne; his sister Sandra Dayday; and his brother-in-law Jim Sandquist.

He is survived by: his children, Patrick LaCoste (Claire) and Candyce Adams (Alan); his grandchildren, Damion, Mykaila and Samuel; his daughter Chelsey LaCoste; his grandchildren, Kacey and Preston; his daughter Tenille LaCoste (Dustin Cheney); his granddaughter Willow; his siblings, Evelyn Sandquist, Harold LaCoste, Mike LaCoste (Shannon) and Dan LaCoste (Gail); his brother-in-law Bert Dayday (Brenda); and also, Joseph and April. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
