He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Forrest and Alice Forrest; and his brother George Forrest. He is survived by: his sister Kathleen McCabe (Gordon Watson); his daughter Corina Hill (David); his brother Jim Forrest (Bernice); his son Willie (Karly); his brother Joe (Julie); his nieces and nephews, Erick and Chris; his sister-in-law Sharon Forrest; and also Jamie (Jon).
