He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harder and Theresa Harder. He is survived by: his wife Rose Lanti; his children, Bryan Harder (Kristen) and Anita Karmark (Eric); his grandchildren, Bryla Fornwald, Brandon, Kayden Harder, Andrew, Jonathan and Matthew Karmark; and his siblings, Les (Idella), Barbara (Harold), Rodney (Sherry), Keith (Pat) and Diane (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
