It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Deren (Estevan, Saskatchewan), who passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Deren to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her parents, Gus Bales and Cleone Bales; her parents-in-law, Anton Deren and Rosemary Deren; and her nephew Stephen Bales.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Thiedig (Scott) and Trevor Deren (Christina); her grandchildren, Ethan Thiedig and Hayden Thiedig; her brothers, Allan Bales (Sheri) and Bob Bales (Cher); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Tercero (Ramiro) and Susan Fichter (Ron).
