He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ron Walbaum, James Holonics and Elaine Holonics. He is survived by: his parents, Chad Holonics (Christie Reeve) and Jody Walbaum (Tyler MacDonald); his siblings, Austin Holonics, Jordin Holonics and Chayse Hemphill; his uncles, Brian Holonics (Natalie), Aaron Walbaum (Jacquie) and Marc Walbaum (Darcie); his aunt Michelle Dickie (Kevin); and his grandmother Diane Walbaum.

A foundation will be set up in Kalin's name at a later date where donations can be made in his memory.
