He was predeceased by: his grandson Mark Fichter; his parents, John Walter and Veronica Walter; and his siblings, Agnes Selk (Albert), Dorothy Wurst and Charles Walter.

He is survived by: his wife Justine Walter; his daughter Maureen Fichter; his granddaughter Angeline (Matthew); his great grandchild Charlotte; his grandchild Kaitlin (Cody); his son Lorne Walter (Michele); his grandson Doug (Erin); his great grandchildren, Brody, Keaton and Preston; his grandchild Chris (Angela); his great grandchildren, Genevieve and Caroline; his grandson Mathew (Maria); his great grandchildren, Kade and Quinn; his son Darren Walter (Della); and his siblings-in-law, Alec Wurst and Marie Walter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Justine and her family would appreciate donations in Henry's memory to the Lampman Community Health Centre Trust, Box 100, Lampman, Sask., S0C 1N0.
