It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen East (Estevan, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gwen East to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her grandchildren, Tracey and Jeremy Parker; her parents, Alex Povey and Janet Povey; her siblings, Fred Povey (Dorothy), Don Povey (Lorraine) and Pansey Erick (Matt); and her parents-in-law, William East (Kathy), Lorraine McCauley (Stan), Gordon East, James East (Vivian), Jack East and Karl Maierhoffer.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Ash (Peter) of Regina; her great grandchildren, Tamara Parker, Haven, Summer, Talon Bourassa, Alyssa Fraser, Tyler, Grayson Parker, Jaymie, Klhoe Wheelan, Juniper and Piper Baker; her sisters, Lois Ruth of Abbotsford, Effee Dyer of Carlyle and Nina Macknak of Regina; and her sisters-in-law, Delores Maierhoffer of Regina, Minnie East of Winnipeg and Anne East of Moose Jaw.
