He was predeceased by: his father George McGillicky; his fathers-in-law, Robert Lowdon and Ken Lowdon; and his brother-in-law Terry Lowdon. He is survived by: his wife Gaylene; his daughter Christie Sousa (Luiz); his grandchildren, Thomas and Owen of Thunder Bay, Ont.; his son Cory McGillicky (Kristy Kazakoff); his grandchildren, Tracy Lynn, Sarah and Zack of Estevan; his daughter Jodi Beitel (Carey); his grandchildren, Logan and Alexa of Moose Jaw, Sask.; his mother Celia McGillicky; his siblings, Randy McGillicky (Sheila), Darcy McGillicky (Jackie), Kevin McGillicky, Lesa Carriere (Warren), Lori McGillicky (Rick Cruikshank) and Denise Brooks (Darren); and his parents-in-law, Lois Lowdon, Jaye Lowdon (Margaret), Jim Lowdon (Sherrie) and Lorie Lowdon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
