He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Kvammen and Ina Kvammen; his parents-in-law, Edmond and Loretta Marchand; his son Gordie Kvammen; his siblings, Irene Halvorson (Len), Edith Dayton (Ed) and Earl Kvammen; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Dukart (Marcus), Erma Van Gundy, Ray Marchand (Lenora) and Ross Fenwick.

He is survived by: his wife Gen Kvammen (Marchand) of Estevan; his daughters, Sharri Phillips (James) of Torquay and Laurie Holzer (Cam) of Peachland, B. C.; his grandchildren, Melissa McDowell (Kerry) of Langley, B. C., Andrea Needer (Bryce) of Regina, Rodney Phillips (Trina) of Torquay, Michael Holzer of Calgary and Steven Holzer (Tasha) of Cochrane, Alta.; his great grandchildren, Alex Overholt, Payton, Vayda, Ethan Phillips, Blake, Easton, Kate Needer and Rhett Holzer; and his siblings-in-law, Lou Marchand (Pat), Lloyd Van Gundy, Irene Marchand, Gaye Fenwick and Bev Kvammen.
