He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fichtemann and Emilie Fichtemann; his sister Sylvia Benell (Cal); and his close friend Glenn Coles. He is survived by: his siblings, Rosalie Nimmo (Bryce) of Drumheller, AB and Ron Fichtemann (Cathie) of Delta, BC; his nieces and nephews, Craig (Barb), Scott (Judy), Bryce Jr. (Kim), Brent (Sheree), Gaye (Richard), Melanie (Jim), Walter (Carol) and Tanya (Harry); his close friends, Allister Kallis and Rosalie Story (Jared); and also, Ava and Hazel. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews.
