He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Olson and Frank Olson of Roche Percee; his wife Elaine Barnstable; his parents-in-law, Albert and Margaret Barnstable; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Davis and Earle Davis.

He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Ken Barnstable (Joan) of Estevan and Keith Barnstable (Sandra) of Douglas, Manitoba.; and his nephews, Wes Davis (Roberta), Gavin, Bronwyn (Mari), Brad Davis (Nicole), Darren Barnstable (Dylan), Rick Barnstable (Alex), Lyle Barnstable (Kaden) and Colton.
