He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kuchinka and Ludmilla Kuchinka; and his sisters, Marion Norman (Charlie), Phyllis Kuglar (Herb), Lorraine McKell (Bob) and Helen Smith (Elverne).

He is survived by: his wife B. Ardelle Kuchinka; his children, Shelley Holitski (Mike), Leanne Kuchinka (Gord) and Curt Kuchinka (Sheila); his grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Robyn (Justin), Carmen, Jared, Delaney and Geordey; his sister-in-law Marlene Dow; and also Jack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
