With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Mary Janssen (Estevan, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 5, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; her son Daryl; her parents, Leon Lalonde and Julia Lalonde; her parents-in-law, Frank and Susanna Janssen; her sister Simone Lalonde; and her brothers-in-law, Marcel Audet and Albert Janssen.

She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Schlageter (Darren) of Saskatoon, Beverley Bund (Cliff) of Estevan, Teresa Sahulka (Scott) of Regina, Cordell Janssen (Jolene Dusyk) of Benson, Carter, Cameron, Kolby, Ella and Sophie Dusyk; her grandson Christopher (Dominique Millman); her stepchildren, Damien Murray and Tristen Hatch of Grande Prairie; her siblings, Omer Lalonde (Dorothy), Emile Lalonde (Doris), Elaine Audet, Fred Lalonde, Leonard Lalonde (Helene), Raymond Lalonde (Donna), Jo-Anne Lalonde (Bob Mathews) and Ernie Lalonde (Lynne); and also Marcel Janssen (Donna). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

She attended mass faithfully and was one of the first on the list when you could attend in person again during COVID.
