He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Wittig and Carrie Wittig; his siblings, George Wittig (Elise), Ted Wittig and Sandy Loster (Laurie); and his nephew Curtis Loster.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Lana Sheppard (Garey); his granddaughters, Aidan Avila (Jordan) and Olivia Sheppard (Jack Britner); his cousins, Lorne and Sandy "Sam" Wittig; and his niece Deanna Loster.
