She was predeceased by: her husband Henry; her siblings, Fred Hammermeister, Bob Hammermeister (Erma), Harry Hammermeister (Lillian), Harold Hammermeister, Irma Neumann (Robert), Minnie Pehl (Art) and Lily Rode (Sam); her son-in-law Larry Hesketh; and also, Patty Wilhelm, Alice Wilhelm (Clarence), Marj Wilhelm, Marian Wilhelm (Ernest) and Kuno Freitag.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Schmidt (Derrick) of Calgary, AB, Richard Wilhelm (Val-Marie), Ruth Taylor (Don), Rita Dorwart, Dianne Carriere (Raymond), Winnipeg, Edwina Rook (Ron) and Rocky; her sister Hertha "Dolly" Freitag; and her siblings-in-law, Walda Hammermeister, Gisela Hammermeister, Marilyn Hammermeister, Elmer Wilhelm and Gerald Wilhelm. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
