She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Purser and Margaret Purser; and her siblings, Phil Purser, Reginald Purser, Donald Purser and Maxine Oskript.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold Hortness; her children, Chris Hortness (Meghan Dowhanuik) and Jodi Hortness Humphries (Darcy Humphries); her grandchildren, Madison, Hannah Hortness, Kennedy, Kora Dowhanuik (Estevan), Grayson, Holden and Emerson Torkelson (Warman); and her sister Judy (Doug) Gies (Brandon).
