He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lancelot Howe, Belle Howe, Susie Wengel and Erwin Wengel; his nephew Jameson Hemminger; and his brother-in-law David Monuik.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Sangster; and his siblings, Dawn Hemminger (Wayne), Patricia Howe, Kathy Augey (Chris), Mary Jean Monuik, Tom Sangster (Jan), Don Sangster (Jeannette) and Jim Sangster (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
