He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Mayer and Elfreda Mayer; his siblings, Donna Hedin (Cameron), Margaret Grimes (Melvin) and Donald Mayer (Shirley); and his brothers-in-law, Scott, Dennis Willock and Harry Lachapelle.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Shannon Mayer, Shera Mayer (Robbie) and Sheldon Mayer (Crissy); his grandchildren, Joshua Earl, Easton, Christian Mayer and Mercedes Brabant; and his siblings, Edward Mayer (Elaine), Gordon Mayer (Gwen) and Shirley Stobbe (Ray). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
