He was predeceased by: his daughter Rose Davenport; his parents, Rose Hildahl and George McClelland; and his parents-in-law, Margaret and Walter LeBlanc.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his children, Harvey McClelland (Susan) and Theresa Anderson (Kery); his son-in-law Shane Davenport; and his siblings, Terry McClelland (Sharon), Randy McClelland (Heather), Clark McClelland (Jamie), Robin McClelland, Debbie Sinclair (Ed) and Melody Heinz (Les). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
