She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Purvis; her son Gordon Purvis; her brother Gordon Symons; her sister-in-law Marjorie Symons; her son-in-law Marcel Shevalier; and her parents, Edward Henry and Charlotte Annie Symons.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Purvis (Carol), Wayne Purvis, Charlotte Shevalier, John Purvis and Donald Purvis (Cindy); and her grandchildren, Bethany, Paul Shevalier, Mathew, Eric Purvis, Summer Marie Barber, Jessica, Tara, Rebecca and Stacy Purvis. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
