It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Athena Ashley Hryhoriw (Estevan, Saskatchewan), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Wasyl Hryhoriw and Joan Hryhoriw; her uncle Murray Holinaty; her father-in-law Mark Michel; her pets, Toulouse and Gideon; and also Marina Van De Woestyne.
She is survived by: her parents, Bryan Hryhoriw and Leslie Hryhoriw; her siblings, Venessa Hryhoriw (Andrew), Christopher (Megan), Richard Watts and Michel; her aunts and uncles, Real Leveque (Loretta), Roland Holinaty (Cheryl), Albert Hryhoriw (Cathy), Roberta Lambert, Jessmi Holinaty, Sherry Massey (Todd) and Peggy Strong; and also, Wanda, Jenna (Travis), Patricia Kolke (Bryan), Murray Mosley, Danny Mosley (Linda), Paula Lainton (Stan), Don Van De Woestyne, Andrea Corrigan (John), Carla Ferguson (James) and Jeff Mosley (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous great uncles and great aunties and many cousins.
I just want to start off by saying thank you to everyone here who came today, who travelled here from their homes, who is watching on the live streams, who sent condolences, food, flowers, donations, anything – thank you.
