He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Yergens and Emma Yergens (Morstad); his brother Dallas; his brothers-in-law, Roy Henderson and Jim MacDonald; and also, Angela Friess, Jeffrey Friess, Gary Friess (Debhora Riersgard) and Ivy Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Doris (Friess); his daughter Heather (Wayne Kolb); his grandson Aaron (Taunia); his great grandchildren, Eli, Halle and Emili; his grandson Tyson (Katy); his son Darcy (Dianna); his grandchildren, Logan (Adrienne Ji) and Kirstie (Nicholas Hill); his sisters, Colleen Henderson and Berva MacDonald; his sister-in-law Geraldine Friess; and also, Ed Turnbull, Michele Yergens (Hugo Valente), Marliyn Palmer, Karin Morstad (Ray), Vivian Adams (Robert), Gordon Friess (Audrey Pady), Gerald Friess (Barb), Wanda Friess, Johnny Friess (Tressa) and Don Schmidt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
