She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Pamela Joan Wilkie, Jocelyn Loraine Weinberger and Denise Michelle Jantzen; her parents, Gordon Mitchell and Esther Mitchell; and her child Remington Jr.. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Shortly afterwards, the Covid-19 pandemic was declared and she was diagnosed at level 3 care and admitted to Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home in Regina on April 15, 2020.
