He was predeceased by: his brother John; his father-in-law Don McLean; and his parents, Mansel Powell and Bernice Powell (Smithson). He is survived by: his wife Carrie; his children, Krista Powell, Melanie Molnar (Kris) and Evan Powell (Jenna); his grandchildren, Rory, Jaxon and Ryker; his sisters, Gloria Powell Smith (Bryce) and Sandra Gulka (Bill); his mother-in-law Mary McLean; and his siblings-in-law, Daryl McLean (Shirley), Lyndon McLean (Brook), Bev McLean and Donna Pittman (Logan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
If friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Ebenezer Baptist church.
