It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Marion Gerard of Eastend, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 5, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Violet Marion Gerard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar and Linda (Shorty); her siblings, Allen Wig, Wayne Wig, Norman Wig, Arnold Wig, Eddie Wig, Ethel Sanford, Thelma Hancock, Ruby Chadwick, Lillian Hill and Thelma Wig; and her grandson Clay Wasdal.
She is survived by: her husband Shorty; her brother Louis Wig; her children, Larry Gerard, Sheila Gerard, Elaine Wasdal (Randy) and Roger Gerard; her grandchildren, Chad Gerard, Curtis Gerard, Clarke Gerard, Colby Gerard, Nicole Duque (Cory), Shane Stern (Rhiannon), Colton Stern (Justine), Dylan Wasdal, Jody Wasdal, Kirk Wasdal and Rylee Gerard; and her great grandchildren, Keaton Duque, Jensyn Duque, Fallyn Duque, Myles Gerard, Jackson James Gerard, Rylah Gerard, Evie Gerard, Lainey Gerard, Hudson Wasdal, Parker Wasdal, Reid Wasdal, Melody Wasdal, Emery Wasdal and Dawson Stern.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eastend United Church (102 Poplar Avenue South, Eastend, SK S0N0T0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
