We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2021, at the age of 80, Lester Morvik of Eastend, Saskatchewan, born in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Viola; his grandson David Morvik; his brother Thelman Morvik; his brother-in-law Fred White; and his nephew Stephen White.

He is survived by: his wife Heather Mitchell; his children, Darrell (Shelley) of Eastend, Dwane (Jaime) of Eastend and Jacqueline; his grandchildren, Cleo Gordon (Kerry) of Eastend, Tor of Eastend and Matthew (Keltie); his great grandchild Adelyn of Redcliff; his granddaughter Emily McColl (Mike) of Eastend; his daughter Jackie Johnson (Peter); his grandchildren, Mitchell of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Taylor of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Callie of Medicine Hat, Alberta; his siblings, Gloria White of St. Brieux, Saskatchewan and Marvin (Kathy) of Eastend; and his sister-in-law Pat Morvik of Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan.

Unfortunately the effects of COVID did not allow for the "gang" get togethers, the weekly games at the cardroom or gossiping on coffee row.
