Laurie Ronald Thorsen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Ronald Thorsen (Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan), who passed away on September 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gusta Thorsen and Laurence Thorsen; his sister Bertha; his brother-in-law Charlie Wright; and his close friends, Jim Anderson and Don Wozniak.

He is survived by: his sons, Shane Miller, Shawn Thorsen, Anatasia, Chris and Eliana; his grandchildren, Ainsley McKnight and Jett Miller; his siblings, Donnie (Donna), Kelly (Catherine), Marlene Thorsen, Brenda Bond (Richard), Cindy MacDonald (Kenny) and Pat Kachur (Don Best); and his friends, Russell Nelson, Peder Skotheim and Elaine Herzog. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

During the Covid shutdown, Laurie, June and Vadym completely renovated the bar and established Log Cabin Cannabis.

In lieu of other tributes donations in Laurie's memory may be made to St Christopher Anglican Church.
