She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Cornish and John Cornish; her husband Robert Bruce Aitken; her son Kenneth; her grandchildren, Rodney Harms and Nadia Aitken; her sons-in-law, Abe Harms and Bob Weberg; her siblings, Kathleen, Winnifred Shea (Doug), Florence Charlton (Murt) and John Cornish (Nora); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Martin (Sandy), Donald, Clark, Jim Aitken and Harry Aitken (Lynn).
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Harms (Henry), Keith Aitken (Noreen), Joy Shaw (Bob), Mary Levsen (Larry), Pat Aitken, John Aitken (Sandra Fowler) and Lorie Kurz (Hugh); her daughter-in-law Shirley Aitken; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Aitken, Doreen Aitken and Janet Grasdal. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
