He was predeceased by: his son Bert; his sister Muriel Scott; his parents, Bert Johnson and Nellie Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Charlie Roblin and Val Wilmot; and also, Glenn Wilmot and Margaret Wilmot.
He is survived by: his wife Heather; his son Tom Johnson (Teresa) of Minot, ND; his grandchildren, Zach Johnson (Brittany) of Canton, OH and Brittany Johnson of Minot, ND; his sister Grace Roblin of Pierson, MB; his sister-in-law Sheila Wilmot; and also, Bob Scott, Dwight Wilmot, David Wilmot (Lana) and Jack Wilmot (Wenda).
