She was predeceased by: her husband Orvil Swayze; her son Russell Swayze; her great grandchild Adam Swayze; her parents, Jack Whitehead and Ida Whitehead; her siblings, Albert (Isabelle), Wes (Kaye), Howard (Marion), Wayne and Maryetta Coates (Archie); her niece Orla; her siblings-in-law, Earl, Linda Swayze and Harry (Janny); her nephew Harry Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Della Fairbairn (Ralph) and Verla Stevenson (Bob); and her nephew Dallas.

She is survived by: her children, Orvella Small (Fraser), Jerry (Cynthia) and Verdeen Matthewson (Grant); her grandson Blake (Kari); her children, Jenna, Tycen, Joshua, Taylor and Wade (Crystal); her grandchildren, Abby, Ryker, Jaxton and Lilou; her children, Matthew (Lara), Sheena and Ryan (Melissa); her grandchildren, Amy, Katie and Hayden; her son Randy (Kelly); her grandchildren, Rhianna, Jace, Deegan and Leah; her son Colby (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Connor and Bradley; her daughter Tara Beck (Blair); her grandchildren, Carter, Brandon, Corbin and Tia; her daughter Martina Doepker (Todd); her grandsons, George and Charles; her son Kurt (Alison); her grandchildren, Cohen and Nora; and her siblings-in-law, Robert (Gilda) and Gay Steeves (Gary). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.
