He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen; his parents, Jack and Myrtle; his daughter-in-law Cheryl; his siblings, Glenn (Margaret), Gordon, Don (Dorothy), Nellie Barber (Bill) and Nilda Cole (John); and his siblings-in-law, Hugh Kennedy (Yvonne), Anne Wilmot, Phyllis Millions, Joyce Mckinna (Dave), Joseph and Kathleen Kennedy.

He is survived by: his children, Eric (Sheila Sterling), Doug "Duff" (Joan), Marlaine Holmes (Don) and Nancy McIntyre (David); his brother Hugh Wilmot; and his sister-in-law Jean Wilmot. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
