He was predeceased by: his parents, Metro Matiece and Nellie Matiece; and his son-in-law Derek Meadows. He is survived by: his wife Lena Matiece of Durban, MB.; his daughter Lisa Meadows (Meadows); his grandson Noah; and his sisters, Lori Hudye (Greg) and Livia Dahlin (Rick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
