It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Mydan of Canora, Saskatchewan, born in Norquay, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Onufry Mydan; her parents, John Huska and Ann Huska (Cherewyk); and her siblings, Ben, Joe and Luba Shuya.

She is survived by: her children, Diana Koshman (Merv) and Gerald (Janet Bzdel); her grandchildren, Kevin (Irene), Kelly (Jody), Shawn and Sage (Blair); and her siblings, Nadia Ewachow, Sylvia Bishop (Garth), Pauline Sielski, Yvonne Derkach (Ned), Nick, Dan (Arlene) and David Huska. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
