She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leson and Mary Leson; her son Robert Marvin Bartko; and her brothers, Norman, Henry Leson (Hazel) and David Leson.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Bartko; her daughters, Lisa Sakal (Dan) and Chelsea Rock (Adrien); her grandchildren, Bill (Molly Geenen), Abbey Sakal, Matthew and Joshua Rock; her brother Edward Leson (Patricia); and her sister-in-law Olga Leson. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Sonya Bartko.
