Olga Sackney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olga Sackney (Canora, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 28, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Helen; and her sisters, Dehlia Witzko, Nettie Sliziak, Myrtle Sliziak and Mathilda Tiechko.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence "Larry" (Kathleen) of Vancouver, Betty McCormick (Gary) of Winnipeg and Helen Strelieff (Donald) of Regina; her grandchildren, Blair Sackney (Karine), Leanne Sackney (Phillip Peabody), Lee McCormick, Corry Mann, Kelly Strelieff (Marcia), Kerry Strelieff (Amanda) and Jill Lawrence (Tom); her great grandchildren, Mathieu Sackney, Claudie Sackney, Kluane Peabody, Mikhayla Mann, Kaden Mann, Anais McCormick, Kiana, Brolen, Rylan, Marshall Strelieff, Morgan, Nori, Valentino, Angelica Strelieff and Nathlisha; and her great great grandchild Ariah Mann. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Canora Hospital Auxiliary, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Olga Sackney.
