He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl Popoff and Mary Popoff (Kooznetsoff); his wife Annette Popoff; his sisters, Irene Lyons and Ann Diane Popoff; and his pet Bandit.

He is survived by: his children, Nicolette Mead (Bob), Cory Popoff (Darlene) and Desmond Popoff; his grandchildren, Bobby Mead, Christopher Mead, Lisa Popoff, Rachel Popoff, Natalia Popoff and Nicholas Popoff; his great grandchildren, Sailor and Indiana Mead; and his sister Pearl Stubenberg (Larry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
