It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Wasyliw of Canora, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nellie Wasyliw to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Procyshen and Stella Procyshen (Romaniuk); her husband Peter Wasyliw; her children-in-law, Barry Anaka, Paul Lazar, Mitzie Wasyliw and Pat Wasyliw; her grandson Trevor Miazga; and her siblings, Peter, George, Bill, Metro Procyshen, Lena Wiwchar, Susie Shouchuk and Mary Anaka.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Lazar, George (Barb), Larry, Bob (Mae), Dan (Deb), Harvey and Ed (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Tim Anaka (Alison), Lori Hitchcock, Jason Wasyliw, Karla McInnis (Pat), Joshua Wasyliw Carissa (Lindsey), Jennifer Dareichuk (Nick) and Brandi Day (Bobby). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Nellie Wasyliw.
