He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Strelezki and Anne Strelezki (Chornomitz); his wife Katherine Witzko; and his siblings, Lena Shewchuk, Bill, Paul, Olie, Tony and Alfred.
He is survived by: his son Barry Strelezki (Vel); his grandchildren, Crystal Strelezki, Darren Strelezki (Jamie), Brent Strelezki (Amanda) and Brenda Day (Matt); his great grandchildren, Jayden Pretorius (David), Ben Strelezki, Casey Strelezki, Jace Johnsgaard, Emma Day and Zane Day; and his siblings, Steve Strelezki (Sally), Jack Strelezki, Polly Perepeletz (Willy), Mary Failkowski, Elsie Perepeletz and Alice Wiwcharuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Leson's Funeral Home (128 2 Ave, Canora, SK S0A0L0). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Assumption of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Mike Strelezki.
