He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kopelchuk and Antonia Kopelchuk (Kondra); his parents-in-law, Fred Swan and Rhea Andrusiak; his siblings-in-law, Sherry Kopelchuk, Alice Swan, Jim Onofriechuk, Marlin Swan and Edward Olszewski; his nephew Delbert Swan; and his niece Judy Swan.

He is survived by: his wife Winnifred Kopelchuk of Canora; his daughters, Carla Moretta (Mike), Tracy Gulka (Roman) and Janine Kotzer (Darcy); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jacob, Sydney and Nathan; his siblings, Audrey Hoehn (Ron) and Allan Kopelchuk (Sandy); and his nieces, Nicole (Chance) and Kristen (Ben). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Norquay Health Centre Auxillary or the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan as gifts of remembrance.
