He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Sophie; his wife Mary Tataryn; his son Michael; his sister Mary Keller; his parents-in-law, Mike and Annie Werboweski; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Keller, Mike Wakshinski, Bill Werboweski, Peter Werboweski and Ernie Werboweski (Marlene).
He is survived by: his friend John; his children, Steve Tataryn (Carole), Cynthia Gazdewich (Ernie) and Kelvin Tataryn (Anjie); his daughter-in-law Sylvia Urbshott (Murray); his grandchildren, Michelle Eckhart (Allan), Jeff Tataryn (Gina), Amanda McQuaid (Aaron), Brittney and Delaney Tataryn; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Maren, Sarah, Amy, Zoe, Daxton and Caya; his siblings, Nick Tataryn (Mary), Olga Wahshenski and Leona Osowetski; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Yacyshyn (Victor) and Minnie Rudnisky (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, Canora, SK, or to the Canora Gateway Lodge Auxiliary, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of John Tataryn.
