Elsie Lewchuk Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Lewchuk of Canora, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Onufrey Oneschuk and Katie Oneschuk (Surcon); her daughter Deborah Lewchuk; her siblings, Nick, Eugene and Mary Kozmeniuk; and her brothers-in-law, Pete Bazansky and Mike Kozmeniuk.

She is survived by: her husband Orest Lewchuk; her children, Cheryl Williams (Bob), Terry Lewchuk (Susan), Donna Tarr (Larry), Kevin Lewchuk (Allana) and Leonard Lewchuk (Bev Wandy); her grandchildren, Bryce Williams (Sarah), Ashley Schick (Evan), Amanda Tarr, Dillon Lewchuk, Lance Lewchuk (Janelle), Jordelle Lewchuk and Logan Lewchuk; her great grandchildren, Laken and Anna Schick; and her sisters, Dora Bazansky and Ann Hay (Morris). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canora Gateway Lodge Auxiliary, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Elsie Lewchuk.
