She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Kurk and John Kurk of Canora; and her brother Bill Kurk of Regina, Saskatchewan.. She is survived by: her sister Elsie Rusnak; her son Kerry Chalus (Debbie); her grandchildren, Kirkland and Jacob; her daughter Kimberly Barisow (Dean); her grandchildren, Avery and Ashton; her son Kelly Chalus (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Jayden, Colton, Tysen, Andra and Cadence. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
